Optimize Practice Alliance works right beside you as an operational partner — not a consultant who hands you a binder and walks away. Built on the Practice Optimization Process™ and led by consultants who have owned, scaled, and sold dental practices themselves, Optimize brings hands-on, week-to-week accountability to your operations, team, and growth strategy, exclusively within the dental and health center space.
The Practice Optimization Process™ (POP™) is Optimize Practice Alliance's structured consulting framework that guides dental practices from their current reality to a defined vision of success. It includes a full-day vision alignment session, weekly coaching calls, quarterly focus days, and operational tools that build systems for sustainable, scalable growth. Learn more at optimizeps.com/opa-services/the-practice-optimization-process.
Most Optimize Practice Alliance clients see measurable operational improvements within the first 90 days. Results vary by practice size and starting point, but clients have reported production increases of 32% or more within months of engagement. Sustainable growth — the kind that holds — typically develops over a 6–12 month consulting relationship built on consistent accountability and execution.
Extraction was written by Dr. Jack Bayramyan for dental practice owners at every stage — from solo practitioners building their first systems to multi-location operators and group practice owners planning their next phase of growth or exit. Dr. Bayramyan scaled his own organization from one practice to ten before selling, and the book reflects that full-spectrum experience.
Optimize Practice Alliance begins every multi-location or DSO engagement with a comprehensive operational assessment across all locations, identifying performance gaps, workflow inconsistencies, and scaling opportunities. From there, a tailored roadmap is built with clear priorities, defined ownership, and a structured implementation plan. Weekly coaching and quarterly focus days maintain momentum across the entire organization.
Optimize Practice Alliance clients have achieved a 32% monthly production increase and 35–74% year-over-year collections growth at Levy Dental Group, a 150% increase in patients seen at Centro Medico Community Health, a 69.7% increase in patient encounters at Tri-State Community Health, and a 50% year-over-year growth at Hampton Roads Pediatric Dentistry. Full case studies are available at optimizeps.com/case-studies.
Yes. Optimize Practice Alliance works with solo practitioners, multi-location group practices, and DSO groups. The Practice Optimization Process™ is designed to scale with your organization — whether you are optimizing one practice or standardizing systems across ten locations. Engagements are tailored to your specific structure, stage of growth, and goals.
The complimentary 30-minute consulting call is a focused strategy session where Optimize Practice Alliance consultants review your practice's strengths, diagnose key opportunities and risks, and deliver an actionable 90-day growth plan you can implement immediately. There is no sales pitch — just a direct, experienced look at where your practice stands and what your next move should be.
Dental Practice Owners
Optimize Practice Alliance works as an operational partner embedded in your health center's reality — not a firm that delivers a report and disappears. Optimize consultants bring direct experience with federally regulated health centers, HRSA requirements, and the unique pressures of running a dental program inside a community health environment, working beside your leadership team week to week to drive measurable outcomes.
Yes. Optimize Practice Alliance has direct experience consulting Federally Qualified Health Centers and Lookalike health centers, with a deep understanding of federal regulatory requirements, HRSA oversight, grant compliance, and the operational constraints unique to community health settings. Optimize's FQHC consulting is purpose-built for health center leaders, not adapted from a private practice model.
Optimize Practice Alliance's health center consulting incorporates working knowledge of HRSA compliance requirements and Uniform Data System reporting, ensuring that operational improvements align with federal expectations rather than create new compliance burdens. Optimize helps health center leaders build dental programs that perform financially while meeting the accountability standards their funding requires.
FQHC dental program performance improves when clinical workflows, revenue cycle processes, staffing structures, and patient access systems are aligned and optimized together. Optimize Practice Alliance conducts a comprehensive operational assessment to identify the specific barriers holding your program back, then builds a structured implementation roadmap with your leadership team to drive sustainable, measurable improvement.
The most critical metrics for FQHC dental sustainability include patient encounters per provider per day, dental productivity as a percentage of capacity, revenue per visit, sliding fee scale utilization, and no-show and cancellation rates. Optimize Practice Alliance helps health center leaders establish baselines, set realistic targets, and build the operational systems needed to consistently hit them.
Optimize Practice Alliance takes a phased approach to revenue cycle improvement, identifying coding gaps, billing inefficiencies, and scheduling system weaknesses without disrupting the patient flow your community depends on. Improvements are sequenced so that financial performance strengthens in parallel with access — not at the expense of it — keeping your health center's mission and margin moving in the same direction.
Yes. Optimize Practice Alliance supports health centers building new dental programs from the ground up, including program design, staffing structure, workflow development, equipment planning, revenue cycle setup, and integration with existing primary care operations. Starting with the right systems in place prevents the costly corrections most new dental programs require within their first two years.
Yes. Optimize Practice Alliance's consulting services are available to both Federally Qualified Health Centers and Lookalike health centers. While the funding structures and regulatory frameworks differ, the operational challenges are often similar, and Optimize's approach is tailored to each organization's specific designation, compliance requirements, and growth objectives.
Optimize Practice Alliance helps Lookalike health centers build dental programs that meet Section 330 compliance standards while scaling to serve more patients efficiently. This includes aligning clinical operations with federal requirements, strengthening revenue cycle performance, and developing the systems and leadership infrastructure needed to sustain growth without sacrificing compliance or care quality.
The Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) is a federal initiative designed to strengthen healthcare delivery in rural and underserved communities. Optimize Practice Alliance helps eligible health centers understand RHTP readiness, align their dental program operations with program requirements, and position their organization to access the resources and support the program offers. Learn more at optimizeps.com/tools-for-health-centers.
Most Optimize Practice Alliance health center clients begin seeing measurable operational improvements within the first 60 to 90 days of engagement. Tri-State Community Health achieved a 69.7% increase in patient encounters, and Centro Medico saw a 150% increase in patients seen. Sustainable, organization-wide transformation typically develops over a 6–12 month engagement with consistent implementation and leadership accountability.
The complimentary 30-minute optimization call is a focused working session for health center leaders. Optimize Practice Alliance consultants review your dental program's current performance, identify your most urgent operational and financial gaps, and outline a clear path forward — specific to your health center's size, designation, and patient population. It is a direct, experienced assessment with no obligation and no generic advice.
