Tamera Davis fell in love with patients and patient care as a dental assistant and continued her education to become a dental hygienist. With her keen eye for operations and talent in team management, the business side of dentistry sparked her interest, and she was able to leverage her clinical experiences with her business acumen to support dental practices.

For the last ten years, Tamera has focused her talent for operations, strategic planning, leadership development, coaching, and consulting while working with private practices, multi-site group practices and dental service organizations. Tamera is known for quickly building trust, credibility, and rapport with doctors and dental teams which has made for successful engagements with quicker results.

Currently, Tamera works as the Fractional Director of Operations for Maya Dental in charge of Strategic Dental Operations and Performance Management, assisting in Merger & Acquisition communications, new business development, and integrations. Tamera has also spent considerable time as a clinical lecturer at Ivy Tech Community College as well as Indiana University South Bend, Departments of Dental Hygiene.

Tamera joins Optimize as head of our business operations bringing her in-depth knowledge of dental processes and best practices, clinical dentistry and team leadership. We are excited to leverage her 25+ years of dental industry experience to support and serve our partners and clients.
